Joachimova výstava má na rozdíl od ostatních výstav projektu utopický charakter, nejde o prezentaci realizací. Jde o vizi života v budoucnosti ve (velko)městě, ovládaném dokonalou technikou a ještě dokonalejší přírodou, která je chytře propojena s potřebami civilizace. Navíc je jeho prezentace nápadů a teorií vizuálně neuvěřitelně přitažlivou podívanou.
Newyorský architekt Mitchell Joachim se tématu ekologie věnuje více jak deset let, studium ukončil v roce 2006 obhájením disertační práce na téma Ecotransology (integrovaný design urbanistické proměnlivosti) na Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Je partnerem organizace Terreform 1 a vede studio Archinode. Jako architekt má za sebou praxe v kancelářích Gehry Partners, Michael Sorkin Studio nebo Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. Z akademického prostředí neodešel, v současné době působí jako asistent na Kolumbijské univerzitě. Za své projekty v oblasti architektury a ekologie získal několik ocenění.
Brooklynská nezisková organizace Terreform ONE (Otevřená Ekologická Síť) se zabývá filantropickým designem, integruje ekologické zásady do městského prostředí. Organizace představuje ekologii v designu nejen jako filozofii pohledu na udržitelný rozvoj a sociální spravedlnost, ale také jako cílený vědecký výzkum. Cílem je zjistit důsledky naroubování projektu na přirozený chod světa. Řešení může být mnoho - od hromadného plánování zeleně přes urbanistickou soběstačnost, komunitní rozvoj aktivit, klimatické budovy, výkonné materiálové technologie i chytře řešená vozidla v centru města. Tyto designové iterace hledají aktivní ekologii - jak ve formě progresivního symbolu, tak již vyvinutého artefaktu.

Unlike the other shows in the project, Joachim’s exhibition is Utopian in nature, and is not a presentation of a completed work. This is a vision of future life in a (mega) city, controlled by perfect technology and even more perfect nature, which is ingeniously linked to needs of civilisation. What’s more, how he presents his ideas and theories is an unbelievable visual feast.
The New York architect Mitchell Joachim has been involved with the theme of ecology for more than 10 years; he completed his studies in 2006 by advocating his dissertation on the topic of Ecotransology (integrated design of urban variability) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a partner in the organisation Terreform 1 and runs the Archinode studio. As an architect he has worked for the offices of Gehry Partners, Michael Sorkin Studio, or Pei Cobb Freed & Partners. He has never left academia, and currently works as an assistant at Columbia University. He has won several awards for his architectural and ecological projects.
The Brooklyn non-profit organisation Terreform ONE (Open Network Ecology) deals in philanthropical design, integrating ecological principles into the urban environment. The organisation presents ecology in design not only as philosophical view on sustainable development and social justice, but also as focused scientific research. The aim is to determine the consequences of grafting a project onto the natural course of the world. There may be many solutions – from mass green planning to urban self-sufficiency, the community development of activities, climatic buildings, powerful material technology, as well as ingenious traffic solutions for the city centre. These design iterations are seeking active ecology – both as a progressive symbol, as well as a fully developed artifact.
