Výstava představí nízkoenergetické a pasivní domy architektů Georga W. Reinberga a Martina Treberspurga.

Rakousko bylo už v 80. a 90. letech jednou z vůdčích zemí v realizaci solárních projektů. Dnes tato země vykazuje v Evropě nejvyšší hustotu pasivních domů. Výstava představuje nejdůležitější projekty těchto dvou architektů a ukazuje způsoby praktického použití ekologických konceptů.

Architekti G. W. Reinberg (1950) a M. Treberspurg (1953) pracovali zpočátku společně (kancelář Arge Architekten Reinberg, Treberspurg und Raith), od 90.let vedou samostatná studia (Architekturbüro Reinberg a Treberspurg & Partner Architekten und Ziviltechniker). Oba přednášejí na univerzitách a za své stavby získali řadu ocenění. Martin Treberspurg je mezinárodně uznávaným odborníkem na ekologické stavby, za které dostal v roce 1999 světovou cenu za architekturu na kongresu UIA v Pekingu. Georg W. Reinberg je znám i v ČR za svůj návrh školicího střediska ekologické poradny Veronica v Hostětíně (2006).

The exhibition presents low-energy and passive houses designed by the architects Georg W. Reinberg and Martin Treberspurg.

In the 1980s and 90s Austria was one of the leading countries implementing solar projects. Nowadays this country has the highest density of passive buildings in Europe. The exhibition presents the most important projects designed by the architects and shows how environmentally sustainable concepts can be used in a practical way.

The architects G. W. Reinberg (1950) and M. Treberspurg (1953) initially worked together (for Arge Architekten Reinberg, Treberspurg und Raith); since the 1990s they have had their own separate studios (Architekturbüro Reinberg and Treberspurg & Partner Architekten und Ziviltechniker). Both lecture at universities and have won a variety of awards for their buildings. Martin Treberspurg is an internationally recognised expert on ecological buildings, for which he was awarded the world prize for architecture in 1999 at the UIA congress in Peking. Georg W. Reinberg is also well-known in the Czech Republic for his design for the training centre for the Veronica ecological consultancy office in Hostětín (2006).
